Is SAP Business One overkill for an SMB?
Sometimes. It earns its cost when you are in regulated manufacturing, or when a large customer requires SAP-grade traceability from suppliers. For a services business or a simple distributor, a lighter ERP usually wins, and we will tell you that during selection.
