Managed services, support & IT infrastructure

Round-the-clock hosting, application support, security and network infrastructure under one agreement.

The short answer

webbox runs managed services for SMBs and mid-market teams: hosting and management on AWS, Azure, GCP and platform clouds; application support and maintenance under an SLA including out of hours; managed cybersecurity covering hardening, monitoring and response; and network infrastructure such as SD-WAN, VPN and firewalls for multi-site businesses. We support systems we built and systems we inherited.

Networking & IT infrastructure

Networks that connect floors, offices and cloud.

SD-WAN, VPN, firewall and network design for multi-location businesses, built to carry the ERP and cloud systems that run on top of them.

Managed cloud hosting

Hosting that is handled.

Provisioning, monitoring, patching, backup and scaling on the major clouds and platform clouds, under an SLA.

Application support & AMC

Keep it running.

Monitoring, fixes, enhancements and SLA-backed support for the software you run, whether or not we built it.

Managed IT & cybersecurity

Security as part of the deal.

Managed IT with the security layer attached: hardening, monitoring, patch discipline and a documented response plan.

Cloud migration & modernization

Move without the mess.

Migrate workloads to cloud-native architectures with a tested cutover and minimal disruption, then run them.

What the work involves

Managed hosting

Provisioning, monitoring, patching, backup and scaling on AWS, Azure, GCP and platform clouds, with restores actually tested.

Application support

Fixes, enhancements and user support under an SLA with named response times, covering both what we built and what you already ran.

Managed security

Hardening, patch discipline, endpoint and network monitoring, and a documented response plan for when something does get through.

Network infrastructure

SD-WAN, site-to-site and remote-access VPN, next-generation firewalls and enterprise Wi-Fi for multi-site operations.

Backup & recovery

Backup schedules matched to a recovery objective you have agreed, and restores rehearsed rather than assumed to work.

Reporting

A monthly report covering uptime, tickets, spend and what changed, so the retainer is legible rather than a line item.

Managed Services: good to know

Do you support software you did not build?
Yes, after a short handover audit so we know what we are taking on. Splitting support across two vendors is how an incident becomes an argument about whose problem it is.
What does the SLA actually commit to?
Named response times by severity, an escalation path with a person's name on it, and a monthly report on whether we met them. We would rather commit to a number we hit than a phrase like best effort.
Which clouds do you work with?
AWS, Azure, GCP and the platform clouds our ERP work runs on. We recommend based on your stack, compliance requirements and cost rather than on a partner tier.
